Sore knee

Had a good weekend just gone. Went walking on Saturday around Osmotherley. It was very cold but sunny. Nice to see so many people out, walking, running and cycling. Interesting place which skirts three major walks, Coast to Coast, Cleveland Way and the Lyke Wake walk. I can recomend the Queen Catherine pud for lunch. The slight twinge I felt in my knee, after last Tuesdays spinning has now developed into a nagging dull ache. Well thats very much January over, thank the lord. Weight down 6 pound, and I managed 105 mile commuting on Phills January 100 challenge. ( commuting doesnt count ). I will have to try to get out and do some leisure miles in February.

About robin1953

Hi I am a 57 year old man living in York, with my wife Jill. We have three grown up childred, and two grand children, Tim and Noah. I've been cycling all my life, but I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes a few years back, so the cycling became more important. I did well for a few years, but slowly the weight went up. Update; how time flys, I'm now 60 still battling the weight but still riding.

  1. Phill says:

Commuting miles might not count for the challenge, but they absolutely count for your health. Brilliant work.

  2. Pah, any miles are good miles mate!
