Hi

My name is Robin Crampton, I’m 57 years old and live in York with my wife Jill. We have three grown up children, Ben Amy and Lucy, and two grandsons Tim and Noah. I have had a passion for cycling all my life. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes some years back, and coupled with the high blood pressure, previously diagnosed, thing didn’t look too good. I did well for a while, but steadily the weight has gone up, so that by new year 2011 I was 15 stone, and 5′ 8″ not good! So I have started what I hope is a road to letting that thin (thinner) man inside get out. My target is September 2011 when I will ride London to Paris for Diabetes UK.
